[MV] more on repro bodies

Here is a thought from a so called "purist" and i'm not afraid to call
myself that!!

I have read with interest the recent thread about repro bodies, first
lets put this in context. A jeep with a repro body should be labled as
such and not considered "restored". A restored jeep by definition is as
close to original as possible. Do i use "original" oil lines? no! Do I
have original canvas? only the crashpad covers! We are getting to the
point in jeep restoration where the NOS parts are drying up!!
Reproduction parts are a nescessity no matter how much we dislike them.
I believe the original question that started this thread was about a
GPW with a willys body, sounds like a depot rebuild to me, why not
"restore" it as a depot rebuild? I think those jeeps have their place
in history as well.
