Not quite sure what's going on here; I sent my msg to CplJK@aol.com,
with a copy to the mil-veh list. I did not direct my msg to Ben Hughes
as it would appear from looking at Hughes' quote of my msg above.

That said, I will elaborate on the DRMS Web site. All current sales
catalogs are on-line for viewing/downloading; search capability is
on-line to look for items by NSN/FSC, location, type of item ("truck",
"oscilloscope", etc), in variuos combinations; instructions are on-line
for submitting bids on or off line; lists of successful bidders and
abstracts of all bids submitted for recent sales are on-line; a list of
FAQs is on-line; locations/points of contact for all the DRMOs in the
field are on-line; JUST TO MENTION THE IMPORTANT STUFF.

I can't imagine what additional info the average purchaser of DoD
"surplus" would need. That's a far cry from "exactly nothing", if one
knows how to read.

Perhaps Mr. Hughes doesn't understand what all those links are for, or
doesn't know how to "point and shoot" with his mouse.
