Yes, it's me again.

I just wanted to add that even if you do dislodge a stuck float valve by banging on the
carburetor, it will probably get stuck again, unless it just happened to be due to a chunk
of debris or glop that you managed to shake loose. Usually, as I mentioned before, these
valves stick due to the cylindrical wear band on the cone-shaped valve tip getting wedged
into or binding in the seat.
