I don't know much about the Weasel so I won't try to offer any uninformed
assistance.
I do have one somewhat interesting historical tidbit to offer to those who
are interested in Weasels. I don't know how widespread or isolated the use of
this nickname was but the guys in the 134th Infantry of the 35th Division in
WWII called them not Weasels, but "Snow jeeps".
