Just so everyone is clear, when I said:
"Actually, I used the estimate given by someone you know, Todd,
but we won't throw him under the bus,"
I meant that it was someone that Todd knows, not Todd himself. All
of you know that Todd is far too meticulous to make an error like that and
I'm sorry that it may have come across like that. A writer (me) should
place his commas and choose his words better! In fact, Todd set me straight
on that fact prior to publication but I was so bogged down in paperwork and
didn't get it corrected. Apologies!
As punishment, I went out into the garage a flagellated myself with
part of an old jeep wiring harness.
