I have a book that contains a good deal of information about CMP vehicles. I
don't know if it is as detailed as you are looking for, but it is a good
overview of WWII military vehicles. "World War Two - Military Vehicles -
Transport & Halftracks", by G.N. Georgano, Published by Osprey Automotive an
imprint of Reed Consumer Books Limited, Michelin House, 81 Fulham Road,
London SW3 6RB and Aukland, Melbourne, Singapore and Toronto. ISBN 1 85532
406 7. I purchased my copy at one of the local major bookstores
(Books-a-Million I think) for $24.95 US. It should be available in your
area, or you can order it by the ISBN number above. It should still be in
print, as I have only had my copy a couple of years.

It is a very good overall book about the subject, covering Great Britian,
British Commonwealth, United States, Germany, Italy, France, Soviet Union and
Japan. Again, it is not a detailed book, but an overview. I found it
interesting, because like many US collectors, we tend to forget that others
than Ford, Willy's, and GMC made some very unique vehicles.

(I sure wish somebody would come up with a spell checker for email!!)

Good Luck, Tom Campbell - Birmingham, Alabama
