[MV] Ethanol vs fuel pumps

Hello List,
I have just finished rebuilding the fuel pump on my M-43 again! It runs
great for now but I know this will be short-lived due to the fact that in
Winter the only gas we can get around here is 10 o/o ethanol!
Does anyone (Alan, perhaps!) know of a way to neutralize ethanol? When we
were first having this "Goofy-Gas" forced on us there was a rumor going
around that if you let the gas sit for a while with the cap off the ethanol
would evaporate, but since it is blended with the gasoline I doubt this is
true. It would be nice if this new pump kit were made out of neoprene
instead of rubber! If anyone has any ideas or solid info please let me
know--otherwise I'm going to have to go the electric route!
Any information will be greatly appreciated!!

Thanks,
Dan Schultz
