The Great State of Maine is very accomodating about registrations. We
haven't tried to get a title from them for anything yet though. The paperwork
is easy, no residency required, no inspection, done through the mail,
attractive costs (last time anyway) & the lobsters look really cool on the
plates. The Maine Motor Transport Assoc. is the conduit and I can provide the
number for any that want it.

DISCLAIMER: When registering a vehicle in a state other than the one in which
you reside you may be in violation of your home states motor vehicle laws.
Check them and decide for yourselves before going this route; the tax man
hates to miss out on a few pennies. I am neither encouraging or discouraging
this practice.
