I finally have my M35A2 that I bid off from Fort Campbell DRMO. The
form 97 that they sent me has unknown for year and make of vehicle. The
data plate is all blank except for the serial number which is 19179. My
reference material lists Kaiser Jeep as the only manufacturer of M35A2's
starting about 1970. Does anyone else have any different information?

Can anyone date this vehicle from its serial number like we do for WWII
era military vehicles?
