What I need to know is:
1. what variant this bed was for?
Sounds like a late model bed. The fuel tank and electric fuel pump are more
than likely a post war (read: recent) addition. They were probably added to
extend range and reliability.
The WC-51 is a 3/4 Ton 4-Wheel Drive Cargo Truck. It was used for virtually
everything.
2. where can I get the small cover plates for the forward
compartments
Try Vintage Power Wagons in Iowa.
3. rails for the wood bed.
Local lumber yard. If I can get around to it, I'll take some measurements and
send them to you.
4. Fittings for the seats and or side rails.
