After I bought my first MV during the winter and it was a MUTT. I
asked the owner how it handled on snow and ice. He told me that the ND
tires were no good on ice or packed snow. he said that if I wanted
to go any where that I should use 4 wheel chains, or install snow
tires. He also said not to make any quick maneuvers on even wet roads
with the ND tires. What I found out was, that the ND tires are great
on dirt or mud or FRESH snow. When it comes to packed snow or ice I
lose traction real quick. So we have a great time tooling around on
the desert trails but when it comes to winter weather on the highways
I use the Dodge 250 4x4 with mud and snow tires.
Regards to all,
Buzz
