One more war story from Germany, though this time from Hohenfels. BTW
Hohenfels, like Grafenwoehr, is a place you can choke on the dust while
stuck in the mud.

At any rate, I was in an M813 5ton pulling a 15kW generator going down
an ice covered hill. Everything was going fine until, what seemed
instantly, the truck and trailer/generator swapped ends. The driver
never missed a beat. He simply shifted into reverse and continued to
idle backwards to the bottom where we turned around. Wherever you are
today CPL Hostetter, good driving.
