To the list,
I found this new database of the Springfield Armory Museum and National
Historic Site. Although a little off topic, the museum is one of the best
small arms museums around. The staff there is also very helpful with
questions regarding anything firearms related. I have never asked them,
but they might have some insight into vehicle mounts and weapons. The
culture there is definitely museum-goer oriented. The database is new and
in a trial period.
