[MV] Top left bolt on bell housing

Howdy list,
Today I started the disassembly process to replace the clutch & pressure
plate on my '44 MB. Everything went reasonable fine until I went to remove
the upper left (driver's side) bolt holding the bell housing to the engine.
How the heck do you get to this one. I've unbolted the cross-member and
let the transmission down on a jack. This angled the engine back which
helped a little. It's still nearly impossible to get to. Is there an easy
trick to remove this bolt? (short of removing the engine & transmission
from the vehicle first) After I buy a elbow for my socket set, I'm going
to try getting to it through the access panel where the shifter goes
through the floor tomorrow unless I hear a better way.

Thanks,
Brian
