on the subject of driving way out of your way for a jeep, i would like
to add my two cents. I have looked at upwards of 50 jeeps since i
started restoring them, not many of them were savable (restorable) but
some provided parts to restore other jeeps. I can't tell you how many
"restored" jeeps have turned out to be "jeep-salad" with big tires and
wheels. I always appreciate a jeep-lead no matter how obscure or
frustrating to the person who was ticked off at driving all that way for
nothing "caveat emptor". Do the person who posted the lead please keep
them coming, the next one could be a rare four wheel steer GP!
on a final note thanks to EVERYONE for participating in this
list/discussion group we have a unique tool that not many hobbyists
enjoy.
