It is my turn to apologies for a late reply: I have had computer problems
too, due to electricity shutt off and everything jammed for a whole day...
Thanks for the amazon.com internet web site. I have just contacted them
and I have found some more books on the argument, unfortunately out of
print. However, I have not been able to find their street address or fax
nor info on how much they charge for shipping. Mailing charges are a
problem as they are going up and up and delivery is very slow (up to 2
months and more from the U.S.A.). Any help?
Concerning THE MOTORCYCLES MARINES, it is still available from
Portrayal Press, P.O.Box 1190, Andover, NJ (www.portrayal.com, e-mail
portraya@cpatch.com) at $ 12.95 plus shipping.
Do you have the Portrayal Press catalogue? It seems that pag. 33 lists
various additional books on military motorcycles that are available
currently. I do not have it: any info? On their web they show 4 TM books
on WLA45 Harley-Davidson (also in MILITARY VEHICLES magazine) for a total
of $ 130.95. Do you have them? Any comment on the contents (not on the
price..!)?
I have requested a catalogue from BRUCE MAIN-SMITH following the
suggestion of Colin Brookes, but I have not yet received it. I hope it has
some more book on the argument. I shall keep you informed!
