Hi gang,

My local mil veh group can't agree on the proper color for a Vietnam era
M-151A1 (or any version) would be. Some say 24087 semi-gloss, others
think simply a flat forest green OD is correct.

I know we have a few Vietnam veterans on the list. This is asking you
to go WAY back into the deepest recess of memory, but can you recall the
proper color? Semi-gloss or OD?

I can't find any decent color pictures to be able to say one way or the
other. Seems semi-gloss was used up until around 1976 when the NATO
(OD, Brown, Tan and Black) camo came out. That was replaced in 1990 by
the current woodland camo.

Although my army assigned M151 in 1985 was the four color camo, I am
considering painting my new M151 in a Vietnam era paint scheme.

Thanks for the help.
