Quick question on gerry can markings. The can that came with my jeep has
the following:
M /|\ D (that's an upward-pointing arrow between the M and the D)
1945
RTMP
I'm guessing the MD is Ministry of Defence since the jeep was surplussed in
the UK,
but does anyone have any ideas on the RTMP?
By the way, Colin - great story about the 'Hansa Lloyd' (is a Hansa a type
of lorry?) and well worth the bandwidth.
