I just bought a over haul gasket set for a 52 Reo, gas 331 engine.
Todd, just curious but it that for the engine in an M135?

Dave

This gasket set is for a Reo M35. The M135 has a GMC 302. I'm
sure there is some one on the list who knows how long Reo Motors Inc.
produced the M35. I would be interested in knowing what factors helped
make the Reo come out on top over the GMC M135 and M211 as the standard 2
1/2 ton. Was the Reo gas engine replaced by another gas engine? I've got
a parts book that lists it as a Conntinental/Hercules or are these diesel
engines? How long did Reo produce the M35 and when did Kaiser take over
making them, for how long before Am General? I'm assume the A1 and A2 are
engine upgrades. First to diesel than to turbo diesel.
Could anyone add to or correct my information please.
