In NH, if you register the vehicle as an antique, they put down 0 lbs for the
weight on the registration form. That means that if the vehicle is 10,000# or
over, you need to get an inspection sticker only once a year. The 'antique'
restrictions are pretty loose. You cannot use it as your primary vehicle or to
make money. In NH, the antique registration fee is $6.00 and $6.00 for plates.
If commercial, it is $6.00 (usually because it so old) and $.60/100 lbs of GVW

As an aside: I just testified last Tue before a NH State Senate sub-cmte on a
bill that will allow the registering of trailers as antiques here too...

God, I love NH

The good news is that it was voted favorably out of committee and my senator
stated it will pass. The bad news is that it will take affect 60 days after the
gov signs it. My month for re-registration is next month
