I seem to remember in New York state any pickup was tagged as commercial, no
exceptions.

I'm not sure what state you're in, but South Carolina requires trucks over a
certain GVW to be registered at a more expensive rate than light trucks.
Technically, at around 6000 lbs GVW, my M-715 should have these "truck"
license plates and I should have less $$ in my wallet.

I'm not sure if this is a commercial registration or not, but the guy I
bought the truck from had truck plates on it and claimed to be able to park
in loading zones because of it.
