Hello all,
Well, I am not glad to say that this new guy was nearly taken for a
big ride. Suffice it to say that I will not buy the jeep and the
"PTO". Sorry to disappoint anyone. The PTO was some home made welded
winch job that ran off of belts, as far as I could tell, and there
were no visible pulleys that looked like they went to the winch.
There is no title, no belts at all on the "rebuilt" engine, etc.
Anyway, the guy is asking 500 for the jeep, and I figure that I could
pass on his number to anyone interested. Well, thought that I might
have had one there... I guess this is the way this obsessive hobby
goes 'eh? Thanks, Pete
