The cummins engine in my LARC-V was solid, so the Cummins rep
recommended coca-cola. Apparently it eats into the aluminium too.
Course if the engine is just stuck and otherwise in good condition you
would try to avoid damage if possible.

Apart from water entry (like leaving the hood / carb off) the most
common form of stuck engine I've seen were all engines that had been
newly rebuilt and then given very little running before being stored.
So if you have that expensive rebuilt engine in one corner of the shop
remember to turn it by hand once in a while. Gordon
