As tempting as that other motor may be I think you'd be unhappy with the
performance. The M37 is a heavy vehicle that needs a bunch of torque. =

The 2.8 just doesn't have enough inches, if it was a 229 inch I'd do it.
but 2.8 is only 171 cu inches. Pretty low for a big heavy truck like an=

M37. Personally I'd stick with a V8, 300 inches or more. =
