Brit formations, but all through Canadian formations, the five-pointed star
was routinely painted on askew. Such a representation on restored vehicles is
entirely accurate, indeed, expected. >>
Take a look at some of the US vehicles in US formations after they got
repainted once or twice. Especially in Italy. I have seen stars that bent in
middle not to mention ones hand painted with no stencil, sprayed with no
stencil, as well as every conceivable angle you can imagine. And it gets worse
when you add the recognition circles.
