<< Any good info out there on coverting an MB to 12v? I'm
familiar with the basic idea, but it would be nice to have a
written step by step procedure from someone who has done it RIGHT.
Parts list, bracket templete, do's and don'ts, pros and cons would
be nice.

Splurge a little and buy yourself a nice, new, complete 6 volt harness
somewhere, do a proper rebuild of your starter, generator, voltage regulator,
etc. (Its not that tough) and run your MB with the original 6 volt system. I
used to hate 6 volts too but after I finally broke down and bought all the
stuff I needed to make my 6 volt system work properly I have had no trouble to
speak of.
