Awhile back there was some discussion about gun trucks in Vietnam. I
just recieved from the National Archives in DC a copy of film footage
shot in August 1967. It is primarily about the V-100. However it does
have footage of the V-100 leading a convoy of vehicles and in the
footage can be seen a gun truck with what looks like a quad .50 mount
with the post war batwing armor plates. The footage is not the greatest
quality but I will try to watch it again to see if I can get a unit
number off of the bumpers.

Also included is footage of both imporvised armored M151's used by the
716th MP in Saigon and a M151 from the 720th MP fitted with the armor
kit developed for it.
