About two years ago I purchased an NOS M-416 axle, brake, & drum assembly
still in the original crate from an outfit that I believe was located in
California. Cost was about $90 if I recall correctly. I have been diging
through my old records and I have not been able to find the name and address
of the company that I bought it from. I think that they were a regular
advertiser in Military Vehicles Magazine back then and that is how I came to
know of them. If you have access to old copies of MV Magazine you may come
accross the advertisment. Sorry that I could not be more specific.
If I had known how nice the axles were before I orederd one, I would have
purchased a spare just to keep for a rainy day. At the present time the axle
that I purchased ended up under a "Cannon" that I built up out of spare parts
to pull around behind my m151 in parades.
