Erik,
You might have to keep soaking the block with solvent for several days
in order for it to work its way down. I know you don't want to break
anything, but have you tried giving the distributor some hammer raps?
Sometimes that jars em loose. When you use heat, just heat the block
and kind of spread it out a little. Wipe up the extra solvent before you
use a torch.
