Mike,
I have the same type tow bar, but I don't know the designation as to
whether it's light or medium duty. I have been told that the cast
adapters tend to break, so watch em. The original pins on mine have
a flange on one end with a flat spot so that they only slide all the way
into the adapter one way. A small wire cable is attached to the same
end and holds the pin that goes through the shackle pin and locks it in.
I've seen the adapter pins at various swap meets.
