Mainly to bob in Honolulu
In may/june issue of MV Magazine, there is a letter
by Gary R. Moore at the Maui Military Museum about
the burial sight at former Pu'uene Naval Air Station.
(this is the first and only one I can find) and the had just
about gotten permission to dig. I haven't found the article
that showed the half track but remember seeing it.(Did find
an article on a half track found buried in Guam). The museum
had thought there was a P-38 (I think) buried there. They
thought first layer was about 200 4th div Marine Amtrac
(LVA) machines. Stripped of armor and engines.
