as long as it was some help, Dan. I wouldn't read too much into the
tag info though, but a tag that matches what you know about the rest of
the truck is good.

My VC 36 T112 Carryall (very late 1940 T112 production) has a 41 prefix
to the body tag, indicating the 1941 model year, so I suppose even then
Detroit was starting it's model years early. The other reason for the
post was to point out that the BODY tag may have been made / attached
by Proctor-Keefe (it's a carryall) and that the BODY tag sequence might
not follow the chassis serial.

Having said all that my tow T112 chassis are 83 apart, and the body
tags are 84 apart.
