The manual for the M37 says to reduce the air pressure in your ND tires. I
tried it last winter in my M37 and it makes a huge difference. Before I let
the air out, it was sitting on snow and ice, facing up a hill, not moving an
inch, with all 4 wheels spinning. I set the hand throttle, got our, and
walked around it a couple of times watching it spin. After letting the air
out of the tires, I climbed the hill easily.

Also, remember that the 3/4 M37 series trucks have a summer/winter adjustment
that redirects heat from the exhause manifold to make the engine run warmer in
the winter. Now might be a good time to think about adjusting it to the
Winter position. (At least here in Denver).
