Hello list, last year I wrote about finding two DUKW's in the north woods of
Minnesota. This year while fishing up there, I found a Ford T16. The only
thing that I know is missing is a headlamp. The engine has a head off but is
laying beside the motor. Water pump is also off but present. All the armour
including the little sliding windows are still there. Not a torch mark on it.
It is located in a remote area and can only be retrived by barge or wait till
the lakes are frozen. If there is anyone who is interested in this unit, let
me know so I can pursue it. I am not interested in it and will probably let
it sit unless someone wants it. I took a couple of photos and will direct
them to anyone who is serious about retriving this thing.
