If anyone is interested, I have the remains of a CMP 8cwt Chevy 11cab at my
cottage north of Kingston, Ontario that is available for the towing. If you
have any MB or half ton Dodge spares to offer as a swap that would be great.
The frame is solid, wrong wheels, wrong engine, wrong box but original engine
(seized and head off) plus gearbox is in the back. Front fenders not bad and
even original rear fenders hidden under home made box. Some engine compartment
sheet metal still there. I live in the states now but will be at the cottage
a few more times before winter sets in.
