I'm currently putting together a cross-reference of the M151-series truck, so
that anyone who asks the question "what is the date-of-delivery of my M151A1,
US Army registration number 2M 6789" can be given an approximate date. So far,
I have assembled quite a sizeable list of truck registration/delivery
date/body number information, but there's room for much more.
Has anyone got any information that they would like to share? Please let me
know.
ESPECIALLY WANTED.
Information about Willys/Kaiser/AMC versions of the M151 and M151A1. I know
that this company had two consecutive contracts to build trucks in the
mid-60's, but here in Europe, these versions of the truck seem to be non-
existent, although the Ford-built versions are fairly plentiful. Any details
gratefully received.
