On the underside of the hood, are 3" stick-on numbers, centered on the
panel, reading "3F 2708".
What does this number mean? Truck was eventually owned by USFS in NC,
and has been repainted. I'm stripping off the paint to repaint it, but
so far have not seen any numbers remaining on the body exterior.
