[MV] 1952 M-37 paint color

Hello everyone
I have seen alot of color question, but I like the WW2
lusterless style paint(color). I was wondering if early
M-37 were ever painted this color. All the ones I have
seen were the darker green semi-gloss. I am not trying
to get a fresh from the factory appearance to my truck,
so could this be a field applied color.
Also would like info on branches or unit that used this
color.
