Sorry to disappoint you but DaimlerChrysler is a GERMAN corporation, its actual
name DaimlerChrysler AG based in Stuttgart. To quote a recent stock brochure
(I'm a stockholder), "Under German law, German Corporations are required ...."

However, as a Mercedes owner since 1982, I feel the deal can have nothing but a
positive effect on the quality of the products from Chrysler, including the
Jeeps. I've owned Chrysler and Daimler-Benz products, and there's no
comparison on quality and engineering.
