My new 151 had civy plugs in it, and the maint manual doesn't say which plug
goes into it. Question:
Is the 2245 plug correct for this jeep? Is it hot enough for this engine?
And
Can somebody on the list with a 151 email me with the civilian equivalents for
the filters, shock absorbers, etc if they already know? Sure would save me
some trouble
And
Were timing chains a problem on this engine? Should I plan on changing it
just to be safe?
And finally,
I was told by an old timer that the original 151s were VERY unsafe on the road
and that I should think twice etc etc etc. What's the consensus of the list?
The 151A2s in the Corps were great to drive, but of course the suspension was
modified, right? I'm gonna drive my mutt anyway, but I'm wondering if this is
a legitimate problem.
