There are so many Jeeps offered in "mint" condition. Do they all come
direct out of the crate? (Ah, yes the never ending "Jeep in the crate"
story...)

German vehicles were never forwarded in crates. They were driven on
railway cars and brought to the army depots by train, without any
crates.

So there will never be a story of a Kettenkrad in the crate...
