Specifically with a Ferret it may be helpful to use the official UK
Military nomenclature:

"FV 701 Car, scout, 4x4, liaison, Ferret, Mk 1"
or
"FV 701 Car, reconnaissance, Ferret Mk 2"

The word "armoured" has never been part of the official title.
