If the heater is a military add on "yes" if not "No". As for the hood it
sounds to me like someone had tried to install a six or eight cylincer
motor and cut hood to accomodate air breather for carburator. I doubt the
Military would have done such a modification. I have a M-38 for sale. It
is about 75% complete. Only small body parts are missing. If you or any
one else are interested, let me know. I could deliver for the cost of the
fuel.
