In regards to offering your vehicle for law enforcement emergencies; it was
the very first thing I did four years ago after buying a Ferret. The very
first drive was to the local PD. They loved it, and wanted to know if half
their squad cars could be replaced with 'em. Presently, my Peacekeeper is on
24hr. call with the local SWAT team. They appreciate it, and while in the past
two years it has not been needed (luckily for everyone) it was used by the
team for a bank robbery/hostage training scenerio. As you stated, Jack, there
are dozens of situations where a vehicle could be of critical help. The one
of most interest locally is, the exposed, wounded officer in a standoff
situation. Nothing else will do...
