[MV] Changing Laws....

By the way, this legislative session in Connecticut there is a bill (I
forget the number) that has been introduced to require the Department
of Motor Vehicles in Connecticut to issue a vehicle title to any
antique vehicle owner that requesta such a title.

This bill was introduced because I talked to my State Senator and
explained why I would want a title, and what it was costing me to not
have a title for my vehicle. I provided him with the information and
what other states were doing about this situation. The bill was
submitted at my request.

I am not a part of the power elite, just plain citizen like the rest
of you. This country is unique in that we do have the power to change
things. The only reason why legislators don't listen to you is if you
don't talk to them.

How many of you have taken the time to meet your state representives
or members of Congress. If you cannot tell me their names or where
their offices are, how do you expect them to know who you are? I am
read to call mine as soon as I have a copy of the Importation Ban
Order and discuss the problem in detail. I first need a copy of the
Ban Order.
