Yes, there does seem to be a freeze on importation of military equipment. Last
weekend I spoke with the owner of the Virginia Museam of Military Vehicles who
is also a well connected lobiest in DC. He is the one under whos import
license was used to bring in the group of US armor from Bosnia. I wasn't on
the phone very long but he said the freeze was at the State Department. You
can apply but the paper work is just not being processed.
