Hi Gang,

Just wanted to report on having brought a $500 Mity Mite home today.
This is going to be a new experience for me and my partner as neither of
us have ever dealt with one.

This example is reasonably complete and straight except the engine has
been changed out. At least the four cylinder Volvo engine that is in it
is running so we drove it on and off the trailer. Brakes need some
quick work to free them up as they drag after being engaged. Also need
to find some seats as original units are missing. Fortunately, the 4x4
still is intact and operational, despite engine change. Front edge of
the hood has been extended as has the grille to make room for the
radiator for the Volvo engine.

I've already briefly spoken to Daryl Bensinger reference this vehicle
and parts availability. If anyone knows of a Mity Mite engine in the
central US, let me know. We are interested in obtaining ANY Mity Mite
engine to use as basis for rebuild.

Here is what we are going to be looking for first

Engine
Front cap of hood
Grille/Air Filter Screen
Steering Wheel
Seats
Rear (fender) seat frame
Top Bows

Other parts as soon as we get a better look at it. I will post a
picture on my website as soon as I get one.

Thanks for any leads on parts.
