The following affects all types of vehicle clubs so I am passing on to
us mil veh types. From May 99 issue of "Cars & Parts", page 22, "Voice
of the Hobby":

1) April 21 rally for Missouri cruise to the capitol awareness against
new emission testing requirements for older vehicles and proposed
vehicle storage restictions (Senate Bill 84) would allow the local gov,
WITHOUT NOTIFYING THE VEHICLE OWNER OR THE PROPERTY OWNER the right to
remove an outside stored vehicle that is deemed a "public safety
hazard". Contact American Roadhouse Car Club at 314-946-4389. Join the
rally and show off your MV in their OPPOSITION of the above;

2) Wash St. House Bill 1174 prohibits local municipalities from adopting
and enforcing anti vehicle storage on private property including those
classified as "junk". Also house Bill 1175 classifying reproduction veh
after 49, made to resemble pre 49 as a street rod. house Bill 1174 is a
good one to support as it affects alot of us with larger vehicles that
we just can't get into the garage. Contact your state legislator and
SUPPORT both of these;

3) Virginia Senate Bill 1326 will allow local gov's to prohibit the
storage of inoperable vehicles on residential, commercial or
agricultural property. This bill also allows the local gov to remove and
dispose. Also limits the number of inoperables that can be stored out
side even if out of sight. Contact your state legislator and OPPOSE.

Get yourself and as many of your friends as you can involved or you may
lose your right to own and operate any type of classic vehicle. Later,
Dirt Man 42 GPW, Kent
