regarding this topic, the current (july 99) issue of "JP" magazine has an
article about the editor picking up an m715 and immediately (like from the
seller's driveway) leaving on a 2000 mile round trip from the la area to las
cruces nm. lots of problems along the way, but since the truck had only
been driven 200 miles in the last 8 years, i was sort of surprised there
weren't more. story also has some sources for small mil veh (jeeps, m715,
m37, etc) parts found along the way. interesting reading, even if you aren't
interested in jeeps.
