Social experiments are fun but I'm afraid this one as planned is futile. Perhaps a more effective plan would be to agree to pick one of the major players ie, Shell or Standard Oil and let them know that until or unless they lower their prices we the public will not buy gas or other products made by them for a one month period. If it then works with that Co. we move to the next one. The problem with all of these plans is keeping everyone focused, and determined to stick with it. Anyway it could be fun to try.........................Alan

Subject: [MV] Slightly Off-Topic

Hello All,

There is a current grass roots movement that is requesting that no
petroleum products be bought tomarrow, April 30. The intent is to twist
the beard of the large oil companies to inform them that we (the public)
don't want to dance to their tune.
